FAQ

  1. No pre-registration is required for using the services. You can simply click “Book Now” button to make online booking for Multi-Function Rooms / Community CONET / Art CONET.
  2. Organisation applicants can access the website: ura-vb.org.hk to book Multi-Function Rooms / Community CONET / Art CONET directly. Only the existing tenants of The Center need to log-in before booking.
    1. Existing tenants of community service organisation offices on G/F, The Center;
    2. Subvented welfare agencies;
    3. Subvented educational institutions, subvented schools and non-profit making schools;
    4. Offices of the Legislative Council Members and District Council Members;
    5. Charitable organisations or non-profit making organisations;
    6. Local committees or organisations recognized by the Government;
    7. Government Departments or Government related organisations, and
    8. Central and Western District Council or its sub-committees or working groups.

  3. Any individual or organization can apply for Art CONET. However, the applicants are requested to provide details of their experience / track record in the relevant mural art / art display / exhibition activities in their proposal.

  6. Please present the "Confirmation Email" and the payment receipt (if any) to the H6 CONET Management Office when take over the Multi-Function Rooms / Community CONET / Art CONET.

  1. Application and Payment Procedure

    Step 1 :

    Access the online booking form at “ura-vb.org.hk” / Make booking in person at Management Office of H6 CONET on G/F, The Center

    • Check sessions availability
    • Select “Multi-Function Rooms” and “Booking Period”
    • Complete application form and upload the copies of registration documents and detailed proposal
      Note: maximum file size for each document: 5 Mb
    • Agree to terms and conditions

    Step 2:

    After the submission of the application, the applicant organisation will receive an email of acknowledgement receipt. The notification of application result will be given within 2 working days.

    If the information / document submitted is insufficient, the applicant organisation will be notified to submit supplementary information / document.
    Step 3:

    If the application is accepted, the system will email a barcode invoice to the applicant with the total amount of licence fee for the payment.

    If the application is not accepted, the URA will issue a letter to the unsuccessful applicant organisation.
    Step 4:

    The applicant organisation should settle the payment of booking fee within 5 working days upon notification of successful application at the following methods, failing so, the application will not be considered.

    • Crossed cheque and made payable to “Urban Renewal Authority”submit in person or by post to the Management Office of H6 CONET located at G/F of The Center.
      (Post-dated cheque or cash will not be accepted for payment)
    • Bar-code Invoice. Payers must print the hardcopy invoice and bring it to 7-Eleven store to make payment. Please keep the receipt for verification.
      (Only payment at 7-Eleven store is accepted if the booking is made within 4-7 working days prior to the commencement of the proposed activity)

    Step 5:

    After payment received, the applicant organisation will receive an email of confirmation of the booking within 3 working days.

  2. The public organisations are entitled to book the Multi-Function Rooms 2 months in advance to the date of proposed activities.

    For example, if the date of proposed activities is on 1 Jan, 2018, the earliest booking date is 1 Nov 2017 for public organisations.

    The earliest Multi-Function Rooms booking date for existing tenants of G/F, The Center is 4 months in advance to the date of proposed activities.
  3. The latest available Multi-Function Rooms will be opened for booking from 9:00 am on the 1st day of each month, i.e. 1st Jan 2018 can book any session in March 2018.
  4. Each application can maximum to book consecutively 6 sessions on the same day and not allow to book intermittent sessions.
  5. The availability of timeslots updates automatically every 30 minutes.
  6. Except inclement weather (Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 3 or above or Red / Black Rainstorm Warning is in effect), no confirmed and paid booking shall be allowed for cancel and refund.
  7. Online booking will NOT be made less than 8 working days.
    • Please make the booking in person at the H6 CONET Management Office on G/F, The Center within the official hours (09:00 am to 18:00 pm daily) if the booking is made within 4-7 working days prior to the proposed activity.
    • No booking will be made less than 4 working days.

    Step 1:
    • Check venues availability
    • Select “Booking Area” and “Booking Period”
    • Complete application form and upload the below:
      For Community CONET: Copies of registration documents and detailed proposal
      For Art CONET: Copies of registration documents, detailed proposal, and proposed artwork / draft and previous artworks for reference
      Note: maximum file size for each document: 5 Mb
    • Agree to terms and conditions

    Step 2:
    After the submission of the application, the applicant / organisation will receive an email of acknowledgement receipt.

    If the information / document submitted is insufficient, the applicant / organisation will be notified to submit supplementary information / document.
    Step 3:
    The applicant / organisation will be notified the application result of the application within 1 month from the date of submission deadline.
    Step 4:
    If the application is approved, the URA will issue a confirmation letter with an Undertaking Agreement for the applicant / organisation’s signature.

    If the application is not accepted, the URA will issue a letter to the unsuccessful applicant / organisation.
    Step 5:
    The applicant organisation should return the duly signed Undertaking Agreement within 14 days upon notification of successful application.

  2. No booking will be made online for Idea CONET, please click “Contact Us” and submit the enquiry form on the page of Idea CONET.
  3. On-line application is available up to 9 months from the current date and must be submitted not less than 2 months prior to the proposed activity.
  4. The application must be submitted not less than 3 months prior to the proposed activity.
  5. Yes. The successful applicant should purchase public liability insurance for the proposed activity at their own cost and time.
